If you don’t know I have a very select style, I wear a T-Shirt and a pair of Navy Blue Jeans. These are my trademarked clothes and I wear them to all of the football games. Anyway for a while now ive been wanting to get some special clothes from a podcast network I listen to. On my last post I told you about a show I listen to Leo Laporte well the clothes I want are apart of his network. I want a Fleece and TWIT hat, maybe some other things, but these are somethings I would like now. Mom was actually very happy that I wanted new clothes. I will post some photos of me in the new gear when it arrives in the mail. Also there is a great new episode of 10 Minute Blitz that I recorded today.

HELP. Im trapped, I had literally 48 podcast in my iTunes Library. I have 8 podcast to listen to. Some of the shows are daily: Daily GizWiz, BOL, Mac OS Ken, and Webbalert. I definately listen too to many podcast. This is how I get my daily tech news, but I have to podcast episodes from Leo Laporte’s The Tech Guy Podcast that are 2 hours long to listen to. Im half way through one of them, but have the other 7 podcast episodes to get threw including another 2 hour episode of The Tech Guy. This is not an easy task listening to all these geek shows. Anyway my sister Alisha is flying in today from South Carolina. I havent seen here in a few months, needless to say im pretty excited. All that aside the day went great. Angel and I had to drive in the rain, I wanted to drive her home since there are hurricane warnings and it was really really raining outside.

So for all the readers out there that dont know. Im a mac person. I enjoy the macintosh interface and all the applications for it. I do have a PC which I am typeing this on right now. Well anyway today Apple Inc. announced that there latest operating system (OS) will be released in 10 days. Last night I was listening to a podcast and I had a deep thought about upgrading or even buying the new OS. I thought about this for about 2 hours and my decision is I WILL NOT be upgrading and I WILL NOT be buying the new OS. The reason for this is I will be buying a new iMac sometime next summer hopefully and when I get that iMac it will come preinstalled with Mac OS 10.5 Leopard. FOR FREE. It comes on the machine. So why spend the money which is $130.00 for Leopard. I will be keeping my MacBook PROUDLY at Mac OS 10.4 Tiger.

Today I went to circuit city to buy a cable to connect my old video camera to my mac so I edit a little better and use a high quality camera. But the camera is so old that they didnt even know what kind of cable to use. Not to get to geeky on the readers, but newer cameras come with a firewire or USB port on it. Not my camera no sir. Well anyway I cashed a check I got for doing the radio show today, so that made me happy. Now im looking at a little device for my macBook or any mac that is (im going to be buying a new computer soon I hope) that will let me watch TV on my Mac OR I can use it to plug my camera into HURRAY. I finally found a device that I can save my camera with. Well the only downside is that it is $150. So me and mom talked it over and I think I will hold of on the Tuner and wait for christmas. I think I will ask for a new Hard Drive based camera that can shoot in HD (High Definition).

When I moved here I didnt think I would miss all my friends like I do. I thought that with all the friends here that maybe I would some how forget about my old friends. This didnt happen, trust me. In South Carolina I knew everyone at my high school or at the very least in my grade. I was friends with EVERYONE. Anyway im going to go to South Carolina next month and I am thinking I will have a meetup at the Sandhills. I hope alot of my old friends come. I really miss my friends

So as most of you know, I produce radio talk shows and video show. So I have a very complex computer setup in my office. Whenever I do the radio show I do pick of alot of fan noise from my MacBook. Also I just think I can think of a better computer setup. Pictures of my setup will be on the left hand side in the flickr widget. Anyway I want a better setup so I can get better quality on the radio and even video show. Update on the iPhone test without the iPhone, I am going through hell I love my iPhone to death and its hard going back after 3-4 month of using a true smart phone. The samsung isnt the best phone, but I wont talk about that review of the samsung yet. I will be posting my video review of the Samsung in a day or 2. T-9 texting is a pain in the ass. Not having a fully keyboard is a pain when your used to it on my computers and iPhone. Anyway I will continue to go with this test no matter how difficult this gets.

P.S. The iPhone is off and will remain off till 6:59 PM tomorrow night.

So today I recieved a samsung SGH-a437, which is a flip cell phone. I am testing it now. I have turned off my iPhone and am using my iPod and the samsung. So im testing myself to see if I can ever go without the iPhone. So far the test is going bad, its really hard texting in T9. And the web is terrible on this phone. The test only last 2 days and I will probably be posting a video review of this cell phone on youtube and of course on the blog.
