#47 11-3-07 Im AWAKE

it is now 9:41am and im awake. I was up till about 11pm last night because of the football game and after the game Angel and I went to McDonalds. Well sadly we lost the football game last night. But it was just fun being with Angel for the night, she is in ROTC so she at the beginning of the game had to go raise the flag in front of the crowd on the football field. I did get a picture, but of course the iPhone doesnt have a zoom. Well now it is 11am i had to take a break because I was encoding a movie to be burned to DVD for me to watch later. Well now I am listening to a podcast on my iPhone and the dvd just popped out of the tray, I am talking to Angel and Stu, and uploading a recording Stu and I did for the podcast. Well I have some stuff I have to do today. So I better step on it.

#46 11-2-07 Back in the action

So I am about to go to a football game with Angel. She is on the drill team and she is in ROTC so for the beginning of the game she will be raising the flag. After that she will be changing to civilian clothes and will come up to the stadium. Right now I am currently recording the BUMP show with Stu, Chris, and Lee. I just ate shrimp and pasta for dinner which wasn’t expected because I was expecting to get McDonalds after the game. You never know I might go get some after the game anyway. Well the past few days have been awesome expecially Halloween, I have never had a better halloween in my life even though I didnt go trick or treating. I went over to Angels house and we watched RENT, Dead Silence, and Masters of Horror.

#45 10-30-07 Apple Support

So when I got home from school I grabbed my phone and called apple support. Ive been meaning to make this call for months now and just decided that I dont need my mac for anything coming up this week so lets get it fixed. I told them my problem that the MacBook had still be overheating. They sent me out a box and it should  be here by Thursday. Well today in civics class (best class of the day) all we did all day was watch all the freshman give there presentations, I had already presented mine on Friday. So to say all my attention was on Angel. Lol I even got told to turn around. Hmm well the time we mostly talked, this Friday there will be a football game that night and Angel and I will be going (Go Panthers). After that call to Apple I just didnt want to take a nap anymore because it makes me stay up till around 12am. So I was feeling tired and said to myself no im going to stay awake. I did this by going to the store and filling up my bike’s tires with air. Also I was surfing the web and typing up my Xmas List.

#44 10-28-07 Leopard Thoughts

So when I got home friday after school, my copy of Mac OS 10.5 “Leopard” was awaiting. I installed it on my MacBook and install took about 30 minutes which rigth there is superior to Vista. Well my first impressions of Leopard are the following: Leopard is a very stable OS, all my apps run fine on it, I have found that all apps may run on it not all apps run “stable”. Skype and iChat were giving me a very ruff time the other day, Time Machine’s backup took a few hours, but the hipped app runs very smoothly and beautiful, and finally the look of the new OS is just awesome. Ill be posting my full review of the OS in a week or 2. Angel has been away all this weekend and today she will return YAY. We’ve decided to spend Halloween night together so ill probably bring a scary movie or 2 over.

#43 10-25-07 Doing the TWIT

Yes thats right I received my TWIT Hoodie. I actually got it like 2 hours after I did yesterdays blog post, but didnt feel like posting anything on it. Well I will be having some pictures of the hoodie on me this weekend. Well to catch you up on whats been going on in my life: Currently im watching Halloween 4 and talking to my wonderful girlfriend. Well yesterday Angel and I went to a school play that was actually not crowded at all since I guess they did the same play 2 days before. Well that night was awesome with Angel there and the play was actually not bad at all, kinda funny if you ask me. But apparently the play was suppose to be a scary one, I guess its my nature according to Henry for me to “enjoy that sick stuff”. Besides that when the lights went off for a few seconds Angel and I would start kissing. lol no one would see us. It was a great night. Well tomorrow Leopard comes out and I am waiting. I did some of my preparation techniques on my laptop to prepare it for the Leopard Upgrade. I will be posting my video review of Mac OS 10.5 Leopard in the next few weeks.

#42 10-23-07 Happy Birthday iPod Yesterday

Yesterday I had typed out a nice little post, but my internet buggered up and the post was not saved or posted at all. Anyway yesterday Angel and I kissed for the first time. Also yesterday was the iPod’s 6 birthday which is awesome because it was also a celebration of our 1 year anniversary of Henry and I starting the radio show 10 Minute Blitz. AWESOME right. Well now im working on a project for Civics so I can go with Angel to a play at school. Also I am waiting for my hoodie to come to my house because according to the tracking report it is out for delivery. Im also listening to a podcast to get back up on the weekly mac news. Anyway Friday we are going to be PARTYING with the release of Leopard. I will be spending the long time installing the OS on my computer and using my other computer to host the radio show call. This is going to be a awesome ride.

#41 10-22-07 Halloween

Are you ready for Halloween, well you better be in a week and 2 days it will be Halloween. Halloween is one of my FAVORITE holidays. I will usually watch a very large amount of scary movies. Anyway im watching a show called Dexter its about a serial killer that is a cop that only kills other serial killers. Also im eating pizza, drinking water, and talking to my awesome girlfriend. This morning I woke up at 6 as I usually do, but this morning was different I fell back asleep and did not wake up till the 7am sounder goes off on the base. 7 IS WHEN I LEAVE EVER MORNING, so im up and im panicking. So I think for a minute and at least the night before I layed out my clothes and the stuff I always take to school: iPhone, Wallet, Glasses, and Keys. That made it a little easier, but I usually like to get on the computer and see whats going on in the tech world being in geek I am. So when we arrived to the school I had some time to kill so I stayed in the car and pulled out my iPhone I: checked my myspace, Engadget, iPhone news, and my Email. Damn I love that phone

#40 10-21-07 Site Remake

Just looking at the website you can see I did a total overhaul. I picked out this template and I like it from the very beginning. But just to move off that even though I think its a really good thing I did. I am PUMPED, Leopard comes out this Friday and I preordered it and AM WAITING. I will be erasing my whole system and installing the new OS. I will be sending in my MacBook for maintenance sometime soon im hoping. I just need to get the time to send it in and NOT CRY MY EYES OUT. Im also awaiting my TWIT hoodie that was $70, but I think it was worth it. Hopefully ill get it this week and ill take some pictures with it on. Well this weekend isnt going to be so busy. Angel will be away and ill have the new OS to play with and test for a few days. Although  I will my AWESOME girlfriend. But I really do need to test this new OS. Friday I will be recording 10 Minute Blitz and being a gust on the British Users of Mac Podcast to discuss Leopard.

#39 10-20-07 Best Buy

Today I went to Best Buy. Dad yesterday told me I needed to start thinking of a Christmas list for him and Grandma. So we went to Best Buy thinking ill probably find a few things that I want. So when I was in there I spotted a few Apple products surprisingly. Well don’t get excited there was only a Apple Keyboard, Mighty Mouse, and Airport Extreme Base Station. Well the only thing I really want is the Might Mouse, so that was the only thing out of the Apple stuff that I wanted. I also spotted a very nice external hard drive that I think was 750GB in space. The one thing that caught my eye was that it was a Firewire, USB, and eSata. Didnt really care about the eSata, but it had 2 firewire ports in the back of the drive and 1 USB port. I dont really know why you would need 2 firewire ports unless it can be hooked up to 2 computers at once which I really dont have a use for.

#38 10-19-07 Preordered Leopard

Yes thats right I drank the kool-aid as they say. I jsut ordered my copy of Apples latest Operating System 10.5 Leopard. I spent $10 and got a little adapter for my iPhone so I can use any of my headphones on them.  Anyway I am a proud to say I spent $130 on a legal copy of Mac OSX. I cant wait to get it in the mail, Apple is reporting that I will receive my copy the same day of the release which is a week from today. Next week we will be recording BUMP and hopefully I will be installing or running the new OS while were recording. Anyway im in a hotel room visiting my father, we had a nice dinner at Red Lobster and went to walmart and Best Buy for a little shopping around. Well I have to go record the radio show so ill be back tomorrow for another blog post.
